Bowls Australia Renews CLUBMAP Club Support

Successful program extended for two more years

Bowls Clubs across the country will continue to have access to tailor-made educational and training content through online webinars, support and bespoke resource portal, after Bowls Australia extended CLUBMAP as its “Preferred Club Development Supplier” for a further two years.

Since October 2023, the BA x CLUBMAP relationship has been underpinned by the joint delivery of free monthly webinars, specific to the Bowls community, and accessible by all 1,774 clubs nationwide, striving to create healthy clubs for connected communities.

Since inception, over 1,500 Bowls Club administrators have signed up to the Resource Hub, over 800 Clubs have attended a Webinar or accessed the Resource Hub, and 185 Clubs haven undertaken a Club Health Check.

BA’s General Manager - Participation and Programs, Chris Evans said he was enthusiastic about continuing to provide the sport of bowls with valuable content and training.

"We are delighted to announce that our successful club development partnership with CLUBMAP will continue until October 2026," Evans said.

"Delivered with the assistance of BA’s 11 Club Support Managers, CLUBMAP’s unique combination of education and practical support has delivered meaningful guidance to bowls clubs across the country.

"We are looking forward to building on the solid foundations the program has established over the first year, to create an even healthier and more dynamic bowls community nationwide.

CLUBMAP Co-founder and CEO Terry Dillon was equally enthusiastic about the opportunity ahead.

"Everyone at CLUBMAP is proud of the results we’ve been able to deliver in this first year of our club support program with BA," Dillon said.

"We’ve worked closely with the BA Club Support Managers to ‘bowlsify’ our offering and we’re excited by the possibilities that can come from two more years of innovative club development."
